The members of the Greenwood Fire Department Association proudly annonce that our successful fundraising campaign has allowed us to purchase a replacement squad truck for the fire department. This 1991 Ford rescue truck was operated by the Bungay Fire Briagde of Woodstock,CT since it was new in 1991. It was specifically designed to perform the duties we are requiring of it and will fit the Greenwood Fire Departments needs for the next 5 years. The members of the department have been busy placing equipment and supplies on the truck and are planning to completely clean and wax the truck this week. We would like to invite members of the public and all of those especially who supported our fund drive to stop by and see our new addition. This is your truck, using funds donated by concerned citizens who want thier firefighters to have the tools they need to save lives.
