The department recently recieved a grant from the Maine Municipal Association for the purchase of a projector and screen for our laptop computer. These items will be used for training our members in various subjects including safe driving. We also recieved 20 traffic cones to enable us to do driver training and highway safety and traffic control training. The grant from MMA provided 2/3 of the cost of the equipment resulting in a savings of $875 to the cictizens of Greenwood.
