Firefighters from Greenwood, West Paris, Woodstock and Paris participated in training at a donated structure in Greenwood. Firefighters were tasked with search and rescue in a smoke filled structure, a rapid interevention team exercise conducted by the Paris Fire Department and water supply operation. New members of the department were intoduced to operating in zero visibility conditions using SCBA. The strucutre was then burned and firefighters gained valuable experience in fire control and overhaul. We would like to thank the owner of the structure and all of the departments that participated in this exercise.
