| 1502 Greenwood Rd. Structure Fire |
Monday, February 19, 2007 - On December 10, 2006 Greenwood and Woodstock firefightere were alerted to a strucutre fire on Greenwood Rd at Hicks Pond. On arrival of Engine 1 from Greenwood City Station under the command of Asst. Chief Al Curtis Jr., firefighters found a fire burning in a small camp building located at 1502 Greenwood Rd. An immediate attack using class A foam was initiated and the fire was under control in less than 5 minutes. Units from Woodstock and West Paris Fd's arrived quickly to assist Greenwood. Tri Town Rescue also stood by at the scene providing EMS coverage. The structure was however a total loss and the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall.
